Last May, we started a new annual tradition at Maintenance Connection. Giving back is a core part of who we are as a company, and we wanted to focus some of our efforts on the neighborhood and communities where we live. Because many of our staff are spread out in various cities around the world, this works out to many different communities feeling the impact of Maintenance Connection’s mission.

Here are just a few of the activities that MC staffers took part in this month:

  • One MC family volunteered at a local health fair put together by Senpete Valley Hospital in Utah
  • A group from Sacramento renovated the playground at a local school for immigrant children
  • Several MC staffers coach youth sports teams with the local YMCA
  • From the Philly area,┬áMarc and Joe have plans to feed the hungry through an organization called Philabundance
  • A couple others serve a local food banks at the Orangevale Food Bank and Sacramento Food & Family Services
  • Andrew and his wife took part in the Annual Furry Scurry to help raise money for the Denver Animal Shelter
  • Brandon volunteered with the Special Olympics of Rhode Island
  • Calvin helped to set up an bike event in the Carolinas for the National MS Society
  • A crew from Denver sorted food and packed hundreds of bags for “Meals on Wheels” through Volunteers of America
